THE 2043 SIMNBA TITLE SERIES

BOSTON CELTICS v OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER

Key Stats:

Celtics are the top team on offence #1 in PPG thanks to a deadly outside shot #2 in 3pt% and a fast tempo. They also get allot of offencive boards #6. The Thunder play a slower paced game tempo and that results in there #15ppg. They do dish the ball better than anyone, thanks to Charles Moore and his frequent 20+ assist games. The Thunder can shoot outside too #4 but give up lots of FTA when pressured in the paint #26.

On D the Thunder have a clear advantage, they are #1 in PPG combining as the best defence from FG% and #9 in 3pt %. The Celtics prefer shoot outs. They are #29 in PPG and give away some easy shots #25 in FG%.

Key Match Ups:

There are many. Little v Singh will be huge both average 23 - 25ppg and obviously Montano the league MVP who will get 20+ and 10apg against the league #1 distributor Charles Moore about similar stats will be a key. I think where the Thunder have a clear advantage is amonst the forwsrds especially the Tate v Zygimantas battle. Tate will more than likely score 10ppg more than DZ. Grant wont do much more than camp under the rim for the Celtics and Mercer will overpower him, but may get sucked out of the game a little competing with Grant.

The match Up we are looking at is the titanic clash of Mac Maize - Thunder and Lewis Munoz - Celtics at Center.
Lewis Munoz C 32 7'1'' 243 B B- C- A- A- C
Mac Maize PF 28 6'10'' 246 B B C A A- C
Munoz is the more traditional big body and suited to center, whilst Maize is a pure athelte who can play most possitions on the court.
Under the rim I think Munoz will be too strong and get some easy boards / points on offence. This will pad his ppg count. Maize though I think will give more to the Thunder. He will out block Munoz and I think over a 7 game series wear Munoz down. Maize may well average 16ppg but they will be bigger plays the Munoz who could average 19-20ppg. The rebound count could be around 15 each, though Maize will break out more If Munoz gets in foul trouble early, which is possible.
Overall I think Munoz may produce better numbers on a constant basis but Maize will play better over the series, with the occasional break out game of 20/20. Though it will be a very close battle.

WHO WILL WIN ?

Well I see both teams winning home games, so this will go 6 or 7 for sure. Defence wins titles and the Thunder are #1 and could pinch game 5 and the series in 6.

BOSTON CELTICS Monty

At #2 Boston Celtics proudly present Lewis MUNOZ. The giant center will be a massive scoring threat from the start. Comparisons to the great Leon Mitchell are already circulating in the Boston media. Hes not a monster defender in the paint but that will only be a matter of time.
He was scouted as a top 2 big could have HOF written over him
GRADE A-

At pick #3 Oaklahome City announce PG Shawn MONTANO to team up with franchise player Dustin Copeland.
Montano is touted as being as good a pure passer and defender as Wansley maybe better. The question is do you appreciate Wansley's talents....some do some don't.
Personally I like the pick, and the Thunder could be playing finals ball next season.

BOSTON CELTICS 94422349

CELTICS LAND 2055 #1 PICK

Patrick Gow makes too much sense for us needing the defense and rebounding. I disagree that he's a clear #1 as there are several talented players. I think Otis Harris will be a star and Rivard would fit nicely in our scheme. Wallace was my former college player too.

But alas, the Boston Celtics select Patrick Gow, C.
-Steve Boston GM

#1) Boston Celtics
Team Needs: Defensive Post, High Scoring Wing, Defensive 2 Guard
Player they SHOULD pick and WHY: Patrick Gow - 6'11 Center - The Celtics have a playoff ready team right now and are looking for that one player to put them over the hump. The one huge weakness that Ralph Lauria exploited in the playoffs last season was interior post defense and rebounding. Gow is the guy who might be able to fix that very fast.
Player they picked: Patrick Gow - 6'11 Center
Thoughts and Grade: No brainer pick here for the Celtics, they are set at PG so that crosses off Harris, they just traded away Kress who is a carbon copy of Rivard, which leaves Gow as the top choice for #1. A+
