PICK 1 WASHINGTON

J.J. Rusin PG 6'4'' 201 22 B B B- C+ C- A

Scouts reports that Rasin has the potential to be a superstar. He has a natural jump shot and a good athelete. Lacks work on defence though and I'm not sure he has the vision to be an elite passer right now.
Averaged 24.4 ppg and close to 3 apg for a top Arkon team in college. Will be Washingtons PG for many years to come and will get better and better for many seasons to come.
GRADE A

1) Washington (From Golden State)- 7'1 Center Man Alcantara
- After watching the past few drafts and seeing New Jersey, Sacramento, Orlando and Atlanta become playoff teams by selecting stud bigs, Washington jumps on board by taking the massive MAN ALCANTARA. Love this pick, the Atlantic is overflowing with All-League caliber bigs (Wilds, Hockenberry, Armstrong, Pfeiffer, John, McCullough, and now Alcantara). Alcantara should form a nasty duo with young gun Douglas Collins for a nice Inside/Out combo. Alcantara has a pro ready post game and a solid rebounding and defensive foundation to improve on.
Grade: A+

bamfs draft grades

Man Alcantara going #1. Not bad for a +2/-1 guy (EFFFPF). I admit to be surprised by his defense rating starting out at a B, so that combined with his potential coming off of an undefeated season sets him up to be downright studly. His rebounding was never really that great, either, but oh well. One thing he definitely knows how to do is score and I expect him to be one of the elite scoring bigs during his career.

ron swanstons college coach.
