Without a clear #1 this draft the Pistons do make a wise choice in the selection of Brent NICHOLS. He scored over 26ppg for the powerhouse Arkon side in college but was not considered a natural passer or floor leader. He missed allot of the accolades due to that fact missing all league honors. None the less his pure shooting ability will make him a very valuable SG in the pros and for the Pistons, a B B+ base shot with A potential has the Pistons fans eager to see him come game 1 and Nichols looks to be a 25ppg scorer for them for a long time to come.

"Ultimately, even though he's undersized at SG and has no handles at PG, I had to go with Brent Nichols. Some big men intrigued me, but they didn't have the talent or potential, and some swingmen had a more defined role, but they weren't as good. Nichols is the best scorer in the draft, and might have the D to go with it."

With Pick #1 Detroit confirms the obvious by selecting Barry Alcala. Alcala starts off with Leon Mitchell type atts and is best known for eating his collage macot whole. He will be a cornerstone of the Detriot franchise for many years. A great pick and obvious pick.

ALCALA is already looking for a drug dealer in Detroit. Looks like a Leon Mitchell ready made player. A slight increase in inside at camp, could see him a HOF calibre player aleady.
