Irv McDuffie SF 6'8'' 215 22 B+ B C- B- C+ A

Mc Duffie out of Pretoria Boomers was widely considered the #1 pick. He has a smooth midrange game, can sink it from the 3 point line and gets to the rim well of the dribble. Scoutsd rave about him vertical leap and athleticism. So Soloman Big comparisons may not be fair at this stage but in time he could be as good.
Another great pick by the Bobcats who are making a name of drafting well. They will be on the up this season.

"Absolutely thrilled with the addition of Irv McDuffie in Charlotte. There was little discussion had in the war room concerning another player. Sure, Don Wilds will more than likely be a star in the league, but with DeShawn Armstrong firmly entrenched as the starting center (and with the biggest hole on the roster at small forward), McDuffie was undoubtedly the guy.

Also thought a little about Randy Beery, as I like the idea of a 6'5 point guard, but I still think Pedro Stanley will ultimately take over for Walter Maravilla.

Entering our fourth year in charge of Charlotte, things are starting to come together. Modlin, McDuffie and Harrison provide great scoring options to go along with the defensive intensity of Armstrong and leadership of Maravilla/Stanley.

The bench will feature Jay Gallegos, Lowell Henry, Gunther Glenn as well as Kris Mihms and Clinton Ava. I like this squad alot with the addition of McDuffie. "
